Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian Datacom Company (ADC) internet provider has selected Alcatel-Lucent to manage the IP traffic flows while maintaining quality of experience (QoE) for customers and keeping network costs under control.
As Mediamax was informed in the press service of ADC, the contract for the supply has been signed within the frame agreement, signed in 2006 with Alcatel-Lucent, for the roll-out of the ADC’s IP/MPLS network.
“In order to guarantee the efficiency and the availability of our network, we have opted for an Alcatel-Lucent’ solution that fits with our IP/MPLS network infrastructure and enables us to manage the increasing bandwidth demand by ensuring a higher quality of service for our customers,” said Vahe Khachikyan, CTO Armenian Datacom.
“We will provide ADC with a cost effective way to add intelligence to their network and offer new services in response to business drivers,” said Edgar Grigorian, CSO Alcatel-Lucent in Georgia and Armenia.
