“ArmenTel” held a roundtable on struggle against computers and mobile fraud

Yerevan /Mediamax/. “ArmenTel” (Beeline brand) and “Consumer Right Protection” public organization held a roundtable today on issues of struggling against computer and mobile fraud.

Mediamax reports that the Head of “ArmenTel” Public Relations Service Anush Begloyan informed today that consumers’ complaints are mainly related to annoying advertisement SMS messages and voice spam, GPRS viruses, generating international calls and unwanted roaming calls.

Head of “ArmenTel” Customer Service Department Burastan Movsisyan informed that often consumers become victims of mobile fraud, participating in “offered lotteries, as a result of which large sum bills are added to users’ accounts”. She urged subscribers to use special programs for protecting cell phones and computers.

Burastan Movsisyan turned to subscribers with the request to inform “ArmenTel” on all cases of mobile or internet fraud.
