“VimpelCom” Head: “ArmenTel” intends to consolidate its positions in the market of internet services in Armenia

Yerevan /Mediamax/. General Director of “VimpelCom” PJSC Alexander Torbakhov stated in Yerevan today that the Armenian market is important for the company’s business.

Mediamax reports that, speaking to journalists today at a meeting, Alexander Torbakhov stated that the company intends to consolidate its positions in the market of internet services in Armenia, and at present it discusses its further action plan. According to him, the company’s strategy in the sphere of internet services will be focused on developing sales channels.

General Director of “VimpelCom” OJSC expressed confidence that “ArmenTel” is the best provider in the market as to the quality of products, basing on the fact that not a single other company for objective technical reasons has the capacity to provide internet connection by ADSL technology to the apartments of subscribers and 3G connection to terminal devices of cell phones.
