PSRC of Armenia approved tariff schedule for interconnect services on SMS and MMS among connection operators

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Public Service Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of Armenia approved tariff schedule today for interconnect services on SMS and MMS among “ArmenTel”, “VivaCell-MTS” and Orange Armenia operators’ networks.

Mediamax reports that the Head of Telecommunication Department Gevorg Gevorgyan said this at PSRC session in Yerevan today.

According to him, the given plan will come into effect on January 1, 2010. It provides for proportional reduction of tariffs for SMS and MMS among operators from 9 to 3 AMD by 2011.

As the moment, the cost of the given service makes 11.3 AMD
