Yerevan /Mediamax/. “ArmenTel” 3G network coverage zone, which exists today, meets the needs of users.
Mediamax reports that Head of the Company Igor Klimko said this today.
According to him, this year the company will refrain from expanding 3G-network coverage zone in the view of the limited number of users, however “we hope that by the end of the year their number will significantly increase”.
Igor Klimko stated that “ArmenTel” carries out active work on expanding internet supply channels to Armenia. He noted that in the course of the nearest two months the capacity of used channels will be increased by 80%.
Commenting on the entry of the third mobile connection operator Orange Armenia to the market, expected in fall, 2009, Igor Klimko stated that “ArmenTel” will take up “adequate measures” to secure competition.
