Yerevan /Mediamax/. General Director of “ArmenTel” (Beeline brand) Neicho Velichkov stated today that the company has elaborated a program to withstand the influence of the crisis and does not intend to renounce the set goals.
Mediamax reports that Neicho Velichkov did not talk about reduction of volumes of the company’s gains today, noting that “one will be able to talk about figures only after the financial results following the first quarter of 2009 are summed up”.
Head of “ArmenTel” noted that the issue of tariff changes for mobile connection will depend on the correlation of national currency’s exchange rate against USD. Neicho Velichkov informed that in the nearest future “ArmenTel” will announce new tariff plans for convergent services.
Head of the Company also stated that “ArmenTel” and “VivaCell-MTS” are in the process of talks concerning the new contract on interconnect. According to him, “tariffs for mobile and landline connection need to be leveled, we, together with Mr. Yirikian, are in the process of serious talks to determine the step, which will allow offering new tariffs”.
