GITC and HSBC Armenia sum up their joint training programme

43 young people from the Tavush region have celebrated their graduation from a programme enhancing their employability through skills building.

The six-month programme was set up to help local youth improve their soft skills and participate in free programming, graphic design and marketing courses.

“I am pleased to state that this initiative supported both stakeholders, the young people in Ijevan, who need to upgrade and equip their employability with demanded skills and the IT companies operating in Ijevan, that are seeking to find skilled IT specialists.

I am pleased to announce that a few of our graduates have already received job offers, which is very motivating,” said Amalya Yeghoyan, the Executive Director of GITC.

The programme was implemented jointly by Gyumri Information Technologies Center (GITC) and HSBC Bank Armenia CJSC.
