UATE Released the New Dates of DigiTec 2022

The Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) reports that it was decided to move the DigiTec 2022 exhibition and summit to March 10 to 12, 2023 taking place at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex.

"We also want to inform our community that the postponement does not imply the cancellation of next year's event. We have planned and will carry out the DigiTec 2023 event in the autumn of the coming year. Our desire is to maximize participation of the IT sector companies and employees in Armenia in processes of strategic importance for the country, as well as the stability and development of organizations, so that we can overcome the challenges we face today," added Hayk Chobanyan, the Chief Executive Officer of UATE.

The organizers report that DigiTec Summit 2022 will be held March 2023  under the following theme: “What role does tech play in helping democracies become more resilient in an increasingly unstable world?”

DigiTec 2022 will explore the interconnection between a healthy tech industry, growth, and a secure platform for democratic development. Keynote speakers representing tech ecosystem players from Armenia, Estonia, Israel, Lithuania, Singapore, Taiwan and other countries will discuss this topic from a variety of perspectives” added the President of the Summit, Raffi Kassarjian.

As you may recall, the annual technological event DigiTec Expo has been organized by UATE since 2005. Every year, the achievements and development potential of Armenia’s technological sector are presented there. This year, 125 local and foreign companies were planned to be involved in the DigiTec 2022 exhibition. Since 2021, the DigiTec Summit has been held in parallel with the exhibition. This year they would have brought together high-tech leaders from all over the world in Yerevan.
