Alexandr Yesayan, the president of the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE), had a number of business meetings during his corporate visit to Taipei on June 2-5, where joint projects were discussed.
The president of the UATE attended a business dinner where cooperation projects of IT companies, as well as investment projects in Armenia were discussed. Businessmen's visit to Armenia is foreseen soon.
Joint investment projects were among the discussed topics during the meeting with the representatives of TAITRA (Taipei External Trade Development Council).
An agreement was reached with the leaders of the National Taitung University to provide scholarships for 10 graduates of the Armath Laboratories to continue their education free of charge at this prestigious university.
During the business visit, Mr. Yesayan was given the invitation addressed to the Rector of Armenian National Agrarian University Mr. Vardan Urutyan to visit Taipei and discuss the exchange projects with National Chiao Tung University board for the students and lecturers.
The cooperation for the development of "Smart" agriculture launched in March in Yerevan.
