Armenia and EU discuss prospects of cooperation in tech industry

Armenian Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Hakob Arshakyan and Head of EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Piotr Switalski have met today to discuss the efforts aimed at developing Armenia’s digital agenda and the possibility of contribution from the European Union.

The parties touched on the EU assistance for the relevant program and the union’s next initiatives aimed at facilitating development of Armenia.

During the meeting, Hakob Arshakyan highlighted the importance of high tech and the expectations from the upcoming programs and outlined the prospects of productive cooperation.
