Angela Merkel: Tumo is not for Armenia only, it’s international

German Chancellor Angela Merkel visited today Tumo Center for Creative Technologies in Yerevan.

“I’m shocked in a real positive way. This Tumo is not for Armenia only. It’s international. It’s a philosophy,” Chancellor Merkel said.

Tumo’s CEO Marie Lou Papazian welcomed the visitors and guided Chancellor Merkel on a tour of Tumo’s headquarters.

The group met students participating in activities and workshops in game development, animation and other Tumo learning targets, in addition to getting acquainted with student results in robotics, programming, design and more.

The delegations also visited the Yelling Animation Studio, a Tumo powered animation startup.
