IT representations to be established in Armenian embassies

Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan instructed Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the start of today’s government session to support the sphere of information technologies.

According to Karen Karapetyan, IT community applied him with a request to establish their own representations in Armenian embassies of 15 countries.

“This will not be an additional expense for the diplomatic corps; all the expenses will be covered by IT representatives. We ask to support the creation of such a platform,” Prime Minister said.

Karen Karapetyan added that discussions are held once a week with IT representatives on how to create favorable conditions for them “to make advance”.

Addressing Ministry of Economic Development and Investment, as well as business representatives, Prime Minister advised them to think about creating such a platform for them as well.
