Armenian-American SoloLearn startup, one of the largest mobile platforms teaching to code, announced yesterday of raising USD 1,2mln seed round.
TechCrunch reports that the startup received the seed round from Silicon Valley based VC Learn Capital, as well as private investors who already invested in SoloLearn before.
At this moment the platform has around 10 million users. A large number of refugees joined the platform as well, as they wish to learn programming.
SoloLearn is available not only in web version, but also on Windows Store, Google Play and App Store.
“Diversity of experiences and topics paired with peer-to-peer interaction gradually upgrade your coding skills, building your trustworthy coder reputation one step at a time,” SoloLearn co-founder Davit Kocharyan said.
In December 2015 SoloLearn was included in Top 10 under USD 10mln financed startups in Silicon Valley (Bay Area).
