Beeline supports the launch of Hackathon 2016

Beeline and Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia held Hackathon contest of programming and innovative ideas on October 1.

The goal of Hackathon contest is to encourage young people with technical and humanitarian education to use opportunities of modern technologies and support digital and innovative solutions related to telecommunications sphere.

ArmCover and TopSoft, the winning teams, received prizes equal to USD 1000 and USD 500 relatively.

“Hackathon format requires certain idea from the participants and gives an opportunity to work in a team for 12 hours and try to realize it in the best possible way. This approach to holding the contest is useful for participants as well, because it gives an opportunity to work in a team and be objective in problem solving. The organizers of the contest and I myself are convinced that it will find new approach and new ideas, which will contribute to faster development of telecommunications sphere in the country,” Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin noted.
