ARMOJI. First Armenian emoji app is launched

The first application with Armenian-themed emojis, ARMOJI has been launched.

The app is developed by ZaRRian Corp and available on AppStore for USD 1.99.

Head of the team, trade expert Angine Nazarian told Itel.am that the team includes Armenian Americans from California.

“It really came down to a simple phrase I constantly found myself saying:  “I wish we had an emoji for…” I’m sure this is something that many people have expressed! For me this phrase finally tuned into a declaration. After discussing it with other Armenians in the community I realized it wasn’t just me; we all needed an Armo version of emojis, hence ARMOJI!”, Angine Nazarian said.

According to her, they target Armenians worldwide who use text/ SMS services, including iPhone and Android messaging, WhatsApp, Viber, Facebook messenger and GChat.

“We have ARMOJIs for every age group and gender.We’ll be adding new fun and useful ARMOJIs soon and often. Our update (coming soon) will include ARMOJIs related to Armenian holidays, expressions, cultural icons and, of course, food,” she noted.

Angine Nazarian also informed that Android version of the app will be released soon.
