“Bringing Sight to Armenian Eyes” program supported by Ucom is implemented in Vayots Dzor

“Bringing Sight to Armenian Eyes” organized by Armenian Eye Care Project (AECP) and Ucom is summing up ophthalmological services in Vayots Dzor.

Within  “Bringing Sight to Armenian Eyes” eye screening, research , laser procedures , surgeries in the mobile eye hospital were conducted in Vayots Dzor.

Armenian Eye Care Project and Ucom Foundation management visited Vayots Dzor to get acquainted with works done by the mobile eye hospital.

“Ucom Foundation is proud to support a program that helps Armenians improve their health in reality. Talking to dozens of people that underwent the surgery today, I was fascinated by their optimism and the things they said about doctors and other patients, who inspire them”, said Ucom Foundation Director Ashot Barseghyan.

Around 1000 children and 800 adults underwent eye screening in Vayots Dzor marz.
