Rostelecom Armenia holds a round table on IT professions

A round-table discussion on relevant professions in information and communication technologies was held on March 2 at Yerevan Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics with participation of Rostelecom Armenia, Russian Center for Science and Culture in Yerevan, and representatives and students of the university.

The programs jointly implemented by Rostelecom Armenia and various universities were presented during the meeting.

“Innovation sphere both in the world and in Armenia is developing and improving very quickly, in regard of human resources as well. Development of infrastructure and introduction of new technologies is what we see as our tomorrow. On the way to achieving that goal, we always need highly qualified specialists who love their work. I am sure that students of Yerevan Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics receive all opportunities to achieve their goals,” noted CEO of CJSC “GNC-ALFA”, Rostelecom in Armenia, Hayk Faramazyan.

The university’s experience in teaching information technologies within CISCO Academy was also presented during the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, representatives of Rostelecom Armenia and Yerevan Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics signed a memorandum on cooperation, within which the sides will jointly work to give the university’s students opportunity to practice their theoretical knowledge.
