Startup Europe Week 2016 Yerevan launches

Startup Europe Week 2016 Yerevan, held within Startup Europe Week 2016 initiative, launched today at Tumo Center for Creative Technologies.

Armenia is the only country in the region to join the project.

Director of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation Bagrat Yengibaryan noted in his opening speech that projects of this scale prove we had something to say to the world.

“This event will open a new page for development of start-up ecosystem. We should successfully create a cooperation environment between the state, private and public sectors, foundations, and investment funds in our country,” said Bagrat Yengibaryan.

Armenia’s participation was initiated by EIF and IBM Innovative Solutions and Technologies Center.
