Menu Group owning Menu.am and Menu.ge food order websites in Armenia and Georgia has recently got USD720 thousand funding.
Director of the company Vahan Kerobyan has today said to journalists that the investment phase was organized by Granatus Ventures. Some anonymous investors also allocated funds.
“Besides Granatus Ventures, 3 more investors contributed who didn’t want to unveil their names in this phase. The three are Armenians living abroad. The investment will be used for strengthening the market positions in Armenia and Georgia and will also contribute to entering new markets, for instance, Belarus and Iran”, noted Vahan Kerobyan.
He confirmed the information according to which he formerly held negotiations with a famous overseas company to sell Menu Group. According to Vahan Kerobyan, the negotiations are now terminated.
“Taking into account the company’s strategy, we don’t consider any offer of “takeover” by any major foreign company”, he said.
