MTS quarterly report also reads that the overall revenue dynamics is aided by increased data revenues through higher smartphone penetration and customer migration to data plans. Quarterly revenue increase is attributable to seasonal factors: ARPU indicator is up by 10.5% in the second quarter (AMD 2,836), compared to the first quarter (AMD 2,565). The quarterly increase in ARPU is in line with traditional seasonal trends due to higher subscriber roaming revenues.
