Beeline files a suit against Orange Armenia to PSRC

Based on the frequent requests from media outlets, Beeline informs that the Public Services Regulatory Commission is examining ArmenTel’s suit against Orange Armenia CJSC on unfair competition.

Beeline noted that as of June 16, 2015, Orange Armenia CJSC officially disseminated a statement calling its offer of roaming services at AMD29 per minute in Russia “the best tariff”.

In practice, the information is not true as on the same day, Beeline launched “Connected +” service allowing making incoming and outgoing calls to Russia, Georgia and other countries at AMD24.9 per minute. 1 MB internet costs the same within the roaming offer. 

“We are deeply convinced that in the situation when there is a more affordable price offer on the market, “the best tariff” used by Orange Armenia in ads and official statements misleads consumers and is not true”, the press release reads.
