120 000 downloads from Beeline’s App Armenia platform

App Armenia mobile app developed by Beeline and Technology Development Center continues to top App Store and Google Play markets in number of downloads in Armenia.

App Armenia platform and app was launched on December 20, 2014. Within just half a year, the app was downloaded more than 17 000 times from Google Play and app store. App Armenia grants an opportunity to take advantage of various mobile content, download it, share with friends and so on. The mobile app system currently includes 250 apps, 1360 posters, 1960 ringtones and 520 files of voice notifications.

Since January, the app has registered the following number of downloads: 31 000 other apps, 35 000 posters, 45 000 voice and 15 000 alarm files.

“Beeline was among the pioneers in Armenia in implementing various programs aimed at the development of Armenian-based mobile apps and content. Collaborating with local experts as well as considering the practice of our foreign partners we managed to create App Armenia app, launched other apps, and held round tables, forums and discussions. We are happy that all our efforts presently serve a basis for the further development of mobile content in Armenia,” said Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.

App Armenia consists of two main parts – Web and Mobile. App.am website enables users to sign up and present their own posters and voice files, while the mobile app grants them a chance to use the entire content of App.am website in their smartphones.
