Beeline to digitize Sarnaghbyur community’s landline network in March

In February 2015, Beeline launched works aimed at landline network digitization and reconnection of current subscriber lines in Sarnaghbtyur community in Shirak region and Taron-2 district in Vanadzor city in Lori region.

The project is carried out within the framework of digitization of telephone exchanges and subscribers lines in Armenian regions.

Once the digitization works complete (due by March 22), the residents of Sarnaghbyur community and Taron-2 district in Vanadzor will enjoy services of higher-quality digital landline network and broadband Internet.

During the digitization works of the infrastructures, the latter will be reequipped and rearmed, fiber optic cables will be installed and current subscriber lines will be reconnected to the new digital station.

“Last year Beeline made significant investments in the development of wired infrastructures, which greatly contributed to the expansion of the geography of high-speed wired Internet. We will keep on enhancing our infrastructures and make Beeline’s simple and convenient services higher-quality and more affordable”, said Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.

In 2014, Beeline digitized the phone networks in 16 settlements in Armenia, over 3500 phone lines and over 1000 new ports for broadband Internet services were mounted. The company lists significant decrease in tariffs among its achievements as well.
