40 children attend VivaCell-MTS children rehabilitation and daycare center

Owing to VivaCell-MTS support starting from March of 2014 children rehabilitation and daycare center opened its doors in Armenak and Ann Tadevossian’s Medical Center. The daycare center is intended for children with mental, physical, psychological-sociological, cognitive and behavioral problems.. At the moment the center hosts 40 children: 26 of them come from villages and the rest 14 come from towns. In total, during 2013-2014 VivaCell-MTS has provided to the Center AMD 23,850 million.

With the financial support from VivaCell-MTS the center now provides meals for the attending children and the staff twice a day and has furnished bedrooms, the press service of VivaCell-MTS reports.

“We are glad to cooperate with the Center where children with special needs get the consistent professional treatment they need We believe that more positive results and progress can be reached if these children feel that they are surrounded with care, attention and support, which are the most important things when dealing with children in general’’, noted VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian.

The rehabilitation services are provided by a joint effort of a group of professionals of various specializations and give the children with limited abilities an opportunity to receive comprehensive medical, psychological and pedagogical treatment.

Apart from the individual treatment, the children take part in group classes, which are held in comfortable and nicely furnished playrooms. Besides, owing to VivaCell-MTS an open-air playground was created in the daycare center, where the children enjoy their leisure time under the constant care of specially trained nurses.

It should be noted that the center has been operating with VivaCell-MTS support since March 2014.
