Rostelecom doesn’t block sites in Armenia blacklisted by Russia

Rostelecom found a solution to the problem which blocked the access to the internet resources blacklisted by the Russian market.

Head of Department of Interaction with Internet Providers of Rostelecom OJSC Alexey Rogdev said this during his meeting with Moscow within the press tour organized by GNC-ALFA- subsidiary of Rostelecom in Armenia.

“We found the solution to the problem but haven't announced it officially yet. Since summer 2014, the sites blocked by Russian law are not blocked in other countries where we are represented and particularly in Armenia. Now the system is being actively tested and as soon as it's officially launched, we will announce it. I hope it will be already in November”, noted Alexey Rogdev.
