Armenian translation of Steve Jobs’s biography presented in Yerevan

Yerevan /Mediamax/.  A day before, the U.S. Embassy in Armenia officially presented Steve Jobs’s biography translated into Armenia at TUMO Center for Creative Technologies.

The Armenian edition of the biography written by Walter Isaacson was published owing to the U.S. Embassy and the translation and publishing works were realized by Antares Media Holding, Mediamax reports

“I’m happy to present Steve Jobs’s biography to young readers. I am sure many of you will read the book and get inspired with Steve Jobs’s personal example. Armenians strive for innovation and creativity and I think the book will be very interesting for Armenian readers”, U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern said this during the presentation.

The book is based on Steve Jobs’s over 40 interviews which he gave for around 2 years as well as interviews with his family members, friends, opponents, competitors and partners.

The book was published in 49 languages. The Armenian edition of the book is available in 1000 copies. It will be distributed among the libraries in Yerevan and marzes, schools and universities.
