British Film Festival contest winners announced

ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) and the British Council awarded the winners of “With Us, Beside Us” photo-contest and the best review contest held within the 12th British Film Festival in Armenia.

The solemn award ceremony and the official closing ceremony were held at Cafesjian Center for the Arts on March 25.

“The goal of the best review contest was not only to attract people to watching the movies and pondering over the subjects raised in those movies but also to help the spectators to develop movie-criticism skills and review writing. We were greatly inspired with the quality of the works sent to us”, said British Council Armenia’s Director Arevik Saribekyan.

“With Us, Beside Us” photo-contest was held on British Council Armenia’s official Facebook page and was dedicated to inclusion and communication issues. 58 photos were presented for the contest.

The winner was awarded a photo camera, and the mentioned participants were awarded prizes.

“Contests held within the framework of the festival provide another chance to stretch a helping hand through art and call the society’s attention to people with special needs living in the neighborhood. I would like to congratulate all winners if the contest and I do believe that due to our support and your efforts we will manage to help people and change our lives for the better”, said ArmenTel CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
