Beeline continues sponsoring music master classes in regional schools

ArmenTel CJSC (Beeline trademark) and Classical Music Development Foundation go on conducting master classes and concerts in schools of Armenian regions.

Members of Board of Trustees of the Foundation, musicians of Khachaturyan Trio, gave a concert and conducted a master class in music school after Makar Yekmalyan in Echmiadzin. The concerts and master classes were also held in music schools in Charentsavan on March 13 and Vanadzor on March 15.

Khachaturyan Trio which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year presented a repertoire including Rachmaninoff, Arenski and Khachaturyan. All in all, over 500 people visited the classes and concerts of the musicians, and a restored cello was handed over to the cello class of N3 music school in Vanadzor.

“The main purpose of ArmenTel social programs is to change people’s lives for the better. In cooperation with the Classical Music Development Foundation, we see a vivid example of realization of the conception. Pupils of the music school adopt the experience and knowledge of the famous musicians, get new instruments and the most talented children - scholarships. We are happy to realize that our support helps fulfill the dreams of these children to become well-known musicians”, noted ArmenTel CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.

Karen Shahgaldyan, the violinist of the Khachaturyan Trio, said: “We keep on thinking musical activity of artists from Yerevan in regions very important. We are glad to note the serious progress in the work of several grantees of our Foundation and we pay special attention to them. That’s why, despite our tight tour schedule outside Armenia this year, we will keep developing and expanding this component of our activity”.

Classical Music Development Foundation was set up by Khachaturyan Trio musicians in 2010. The Foundation is mainly engaged in implementation of educational and charity programs in classical music. ArmenTel has become the permanent partner of the Foundation since 2011.
