ADC Business Development Director Karen Sargsyan said the connectivity issues were due to technical problems between ADC and its partner companies.
The connection with companies collaborating with ADC and supplying Internet had failed, Karen Sargsyan told Mediamax.
“The technical problems arose on January 14, from 15:00. We have found trustworthy partners outside Armenia to resolve the issue, and at the moment, our subscribers already have Internet. We will keep on enhancing our network as we have encountered a leading provider of top international level”, he said.
Karen Sargsyan noted that Level 3 Communications, Inc. is the company’s new supplier, and the connection works are already completed.
According to him, ADC hasn’t suspended it’s collaboration with the previous supplier but has temporarily frozen it.
“With our Georgian provider we will build direct relations, without intermediaries”, the company’s representative said.
Besides, he informed that ADC is planning to collaborate with the second independent supplier, thus ensuring the independence and reliability of its connection.
“By expanding the scope of our collaboration we will establish such infrastructures, which will fully insure our subscribers against similar situations”, he noted.
All ADC subscribers will receive 20% discount in January for their Internet services, the company’s representative told Mediamax.
