Օn December 31 and January 1 VivaCell-MTS network handled over 40 mln calls

VivaCell-MTS’ network handled 4,205,447 SMS messages on December 31, the New Years Eve before midnight, with a further 3,336,833 on January 1, 2014.

19,552,223 calls were handled through VivaCell-MTS network on December 31, 2013 before midnight, and another 20,594,997 on January 1, 2014.

In total 7,542,280 short messages and 40,147,220 calls were handled by VivaCell-MTS network on December 31, 2013 and January 1, 2014.

Compared to the same period of the previous year, the number of calls increased by 3.33% and the number of SMS increased by 18%.
