ArmenTel and Children Development Foundation gave New Year Holiday to children

ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) congratulated the inmates of Children Development Foundation and organized a holiday event for them.

Along with the representatives of the Foundation, ArmenTel employees and leadership prepared gifts and decorated the New Year tree with toys, including self-made toys with New Year wishes.

The inmates of the Foundation - children with special needs- prepared a holiday performance based on Italian writer A. Moravia’s tale.

“On New Year’s Eve, which is the dearest holiday for children, every person sincerely strives to gift them a real tale through fulfilling their wishes, creating holiday mood and presenting gifts. As a rule, children with special needs are in an even greater need of a holiday, and we attempt to help make their life better and feel themselves as full members of society not only on New Year’s Eve but throughout the year as well”, ArmenTel CEO Andrey Pyatakhin noted.

“At the end of each year we review our achievements and initiatives. 2013 stood out in terms of cooperation with ArmenTel and reaching serious progress. Very serious statements were made to the society; these statements come to change the society’s attitude, approaches and certainly, give many children involved in the program an opportunity to feel happy. We still have a long way to go, and examples of such initiatives should become contagious in our society”, Children Development Foundation Director Lusine Simonyan said.

It should be noted that the cooperation between ArmenTel and the Foundation started in April, 2011. Within the framework of the cooperation “We” children theater troupe has been established and educational events and art-therapy programs are being regularly held; they help children with special needs integrate into the society. The children troupe involves children with special needs and children from Yerevan comprehensive schools.
