ArmenTel supports projects for rural communities' improvement in Armavir marz

ArmenTel CJSC (Beeline trademark) and Children of Armenia Fund announced the start of a new social project for improvement of rural communities in Armavir marz.

The program provides repairs, landscape gardening and design of parks, schools, children playgrounds and leisure sites in the communities.

Today, ArmenTel CEO Andrey Pyatakhin visited the village of Karakert where the first two events of a new social program were held: Colorful Park and Clean Environment. ArmenTel associates, Children of Armenia Fund and the local young people joined efforts to create a public park with a children's playground and leisure sites. Also, garbage collection was organized, streets were provided with indicators, bins and information desks.

"Programs which help people change their lives for the better are ArmenTel's social corporate policy's main priority. Our company's associates made their contribution to implementation of an excellent and important project in the village of Karakert today. I am sure the fruit of our work will make the community people happy yet for a long time and the event will become one of the most vivid examples of careful attitude to environment", noted ArmenTel CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.

Within the rural communities improvement project, four more initiatives will be realized in 2013, two of them being in the community of Lernagog and the remaining - in Dalarik.
