NIKITA Mobile launches SMS2Voice services in VivaCell-MTS network

"NIKITA Mobile" launched SMS2Voice service which allows VivaCell-MTS mobile subscribers to send SMS from a mobile phone to landline number (turning on telephone connecting machine).

The company reported, sending SMS from a mobile phone to landline phone is realized through text conversion into a voice message. The system makes a call to the number of the receiver, the text of the SMS is converted into a voice format and is read out to the landline subscriber. If needed, the receiver may listen to the message twice, following the instructions of the operator or send a voice reply. The reply message is sent through a call or SMS notification and the receiver may hear the answer dialing to the number mentioned in the notification.

Cost of SMS to landline number makes AMD100, the call to the mentioned number - AMD90 (VAT included). A year ago, the service of "talking" SMS was introduced in Armenia by "NIKITA Mobile" for "ArmenTel"  mobile subscribers (Beeline trademark).

"SMS2Voice service is especially convenient for those who can't use SMS which is very actual among elderly people and people with eyesight problems. Sending SMS to landline number is very simple and doesn't differ from talking in the format in the mobile network. Receiving SMS is very accessible - you should just pick up the phone and hear the message", noted Project Manager of "NIKITA Mobile" LLC Naira Aghayan.

Owing to transliteration support, the text meant for sending as a voice message can be dialed in Latin alphabet or Cyrillic or in Armenian.
