"ArmenTel" (Beeline trademark) started works on digitization of dial offices and digital lines of villages of Avshar and Myasnikyan.
The company reported that upon the completion of the network modernization, services of high-quality digital landline communication and broadband internet will be available to the residents of these villages.
Upon shifting to a new station, the landline subscribers in the village of Avshar will be provided new phone numbers. Within 60 days, the automatic informer will tell the caller the new number of the subscriber. The works will finish in mid May 2013.
"ArmenTel expands its digital network and almost all the landline communication will operate in the modern format in near future. We are happy that a large number of our subscribers will be able to use convenient and high-quality network to communicate with their parents and friends and open up new standards of broadband internet", noted acting CEO of ArmenTel Karen Shahnazaryan.
As of April 2013, 86% of subscribers of ArmenTel landline network across Armenia is connected to the digital landline networks. The overall length of cables of the company's subscriber network exceeds 13 000km and the length of fiber-optic network makes over 3000km. --0--
