Armenia’s IT sector grew by 20% in 2012

According to preliminary estimates, in 2012 the Armenian IT sector grew by 20%, Director of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation Bagrat Yengibaryan said today.

According to him, the turnover of the sector in 2012 totaled about $250mln, and the number of workplaces grew by about 10%.

“The number of companies involved in the sector has also grown by approximately 10% and now makes 400; 60% of their production is exported,” said Bagrat Yengibaryan.
