ArmenTel participates in “Protect the environment” action

Yerevan/Mediamax/. ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) and Children of Armenia Fund announced the launch of “Protect the environment” action.

During the day, cloth bags, which help reduce the use of plastic bags causing great damage to nature, were distributed to people near the office of Beeline on Northern Avenue. The production of thousands of cloth bags was established within the framework of cooperation between ArmenTel and Children of Armenia Fund, the press service of the company reported.

“By this action we want to remind people that the care for the environment begins from safe, ecologically pure multi-use goods. Our project will continue and we invite all interested individuals to cooperation,” ArmenTel spokeswoman Anush Begloyan said.

“This program is important for the Fund from two points of view: first of all it allowed providing temporary jobs to 6 women in Kanakert community. Besides, the Fund participates in the movement against plastic goods initiated by a number of international organizations. In all its programs the Fund attaches great importance to ecological awareness,” Executive Director of the Fund, Serob Khachatryan, said.
