Yerevan/Mediamax/. \"ArmenTel\" (Beeline brand) improves its policy and procedures on preventing network outages and assures the measures and stricter approach to the vendors will rule out such outages in the future.
Today\'s statement of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia read this:
\"The Commission examined the information provided by \"ArmenTel\" in response to the official request on the outages on the company\'s mobile network taken place in May-August 2012 according to which the technical outages resulted from the flawed software installed by the company\'s vendor. Due to the outage in software, the stable operation of control system malfunctioned. The growing overload of network was the reason why the network restoration through reserve systems was possible only during night hours when the traffic was minimal.
The Commission confirms that over a short period of time, the company took all the necessary measures to replace the relevant software module and compensate the subscribers for the inconveniences\", the statement reads.
