Armenia left Georgia and Azerbaijan behind in “Global Innovation Index”

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenia occupied the 69th place in the “Global Innovation Index- 2011”, leaving Georgia and Azerbaijan behind.

Mediamax reports that starting from 2007 one of the world leading business schools INSEAD has been composing “Global Innovation Index”.

All in all, 125 countries are presented in the rating for 2011.

Armenia improved its position as compared to the rating for 2010 and 2009, when it occupied the 82nd and 104th lines respectively.

Georgia occupies the 73rd place in “Global Innovation Index-2011”, and Azerbaijan occupies the 88th.

The list of top ten most innovative countries, six represent Europe (Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Great Britain), two – Asia (Hong Kong and Singapore) and two – North America (the USA and Canada).
