Yerevan/Mediamax/. “ArmenTel” Company (Beeline trademark) became the corporate sponsor of the exhibition of painters’ works, dated to the 1050th anniversary of Ani city’s establishment.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of the operator that the exhibition is organized by World Union of Armenian Painters under the patronage of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian and Ararat Patriarchic Eparchy of Armenian Apostolic Church.

Within the framework of preparation for the exhibition, 26 Armenian painters visited the ruins of ancient Ani city on the Armenian-Turkish border. The sketches from life became a basis for the new works. All in all, 72 works are presented, which are devoted exclusively to the ancient Armenian capital – Ani city.

I sincerely hope that the people, who visit this exhibition, will be able to familiarize themselves with the grandeur of the ancient capital and its architectural and cultural values”, General Director of “ArmenTel” Igor Klimko said.

“Today’s exhibition, dated to the jubilee of the ancient Armenian capital’s foundation, is not the first initiative at all, supported by “ArmenTel” Company. On behalf of the World Union of Armenian Painters, I want to thank the company for participation in the cultural life of our country and for contribution to educating young generation of Armenian painters”, Chairman of the World Union of Armenian Painters Lazar Mirzoyan said.
