Subscribers of landline and mobile networks of Beeline can exchange SMS messages

Yerevan/Mediamax/. “ArmenTel” Company (Beeline trademark) announced the launch of “Speaking SMS” service.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of the company that the service allows subscribers of Beeline mobile connection sending SMS to numbers of landline connection telephone network in Yerevan and vice versa.

While sending SMS messages to a landline telephone number, the subscriber of the urban phone will receive a call with the information on the received message. The subscriber of landline telephone connection hears the SMS and can send a response voice message if they want. In this case, the subscriber of mobile connection receives notification on the response message, which they can hear by calling the short number 8008. In order to send an SMS, the subscriber of mobile connection in the number of the addressee indicates the telephone number in the following format: 010XXXXXX or 37410 XXXXXX.

“Universal connection operator of Armenia – “ArmenTel” company once again comes up with an innovative offer in the sphere of communication. Introduction of the service will allow subscribers of mobile connection of Beeline sending messages to their friends and relatives not only to the cell phone, but also to the numbers of landline connection”, General Director of “ArmenTel” Igor Klimko stated.

SMS messages for sending to the landline network subscriber can be written in English or Armenian or Russian languages with the use of Cyrillic or the Roman alphabet. The service is available in all tariff plans of Beeline mobile connection in the entire territory of Armenia. The cost of sending one SMS message to the urban number makes 100 AMD, and the price of the outgoing call to 8008 number makes 90 AMD per minute. Hearing the SMS by the subscriber of landline connection and sending of the response message are free of charge.

Calls to the numbers of landline network are made exclusively from 8:00 to 22:00. If the SMS message is sent in a different period of time, the subscriber of mobile connection is notified that the message will be delivered after 8:00.
