“VivaCell-MTS” development program complies with the governmental strategy for IT development, Armenian Prime Minister stated

Yerevan/Mediamax/. “VivaCell-MTS” Company’s development program complies with the governmental strategy for development of information technologies in Armenia, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian stated.

Speaking at the solemn presentation of the new generation 4G/LTE network launch, Tigran Sargsian expressed confidence that the innovation of “VivaCell -MTS” Company will become a stimulus for the country’s development.

“Only two years ago Armenia yielded to its neighbors in the region as to IT indices on availability, competitive field, prices; however over the past two years serious progress has been registered in the sphere of information technologies in the country”, Armenian Prime Minister stated. According to him, new tools, new services have appeared, and the number of innovational companies in the sphere of IT has abruptly increased.

Armenian Prime Minister stated that exactly these exemplary measures and investments, which “VivaCell-MTS” Company demonstrates, are the ones to lead to new investments in this sphere, and favorable conditions for IT development will be created in the country.
