“All Armenian Tournament of Young Chemists” to take place

Yerevan/Mediamax/. “All Armenian Tournament of Young Chemists” will take place at the initiative of Ayb Educational Foundation.

As Mediamax was informed “Ayb” Foundation, the Tournament is a team competition where high school students offer solutions to various interesting problems, debate over scientific topics, make their first scientific discoveries.

Seven teams from different cities of the country, in particular, from Vanadzor, Abovian, Etchmiadzin, Gyumri, Stepanavan (one team from each of the cities) and Yerevan (two teams), will participate in the competition.

Each team comprises from 4 to 6 students, one of whom is the captain. The teams had previously submitted presentations on competitive topics and later the lists of team members approved by their school management.
 
Chairman of the jury is Professor Hambardzoum Khachatryan, Doctor of Chemistry, Head of the Analytical Chemistry Chair of Yerevan State University. Included in the jury are professors all universities where chemistry is a professional discipline, as well as young scientists, school teachers and other experts

“All Armenian Tournament of Young Chemists” will take place in late September.
