Armenian Cybersport Championship to be launched on August 21

Yerevan/Mediamax/. National professional cybersport league will hold the 4th Armenian open championship of computer games on August 20-22.

The championship also represents the Armenian selection round for the largest international festival of computer games WCG (WorldCyberGames).

FIFA 10 and TrackMania Nations Forever are chosen as the official games of the championship. The winners will get the chance to leave for Los Angeles to participate in the finale of WCG, which is to take place from September 30 to October 13, 2010.

The third, unofficial game of the Armenian championship will be the Call of Duty:Modern WarFare2.

The championship will take place in “Congress” Hotel. The prize fund makes 600 thousand AMD, which will be distributed among the people, who occupy the first, second and third places in all three games.

Registration is held before August 20 at the official website of the contest (www.WCG2010.am). The championship is to be launched on August 21 after the drawing.
