“Cornet-AM” plans to develop partnership cooperation with GNC Alfa

Yerevan/Mediamax/. “COMSTAR-OTS” OJSC and its subsidiary company “Cornet-AM” announced expansion of WiMAX network coverage zone in Armenia.

Starting from June, 2010, WiMAX network of “Cornet-AM” started functioning in Kajaran town.

Today, the coverage zone of the company secures provision of services in Yerevan and 19 towns of Armenia (Gyumri, Vanadzor, Abovyan, Ashtarak, Artashat, Etchmiadzin, Armavir, Goris, Kapan, Spitak, Alaverdi, Stepanavan, Ijevan, Dilijan, Sevan, Gavar, Charentsavan, Hrazdan, Kajaran).

Installation of a new base station in Kajaran became possible due to technical support and on the basis of fiber-optical connection network resource of “GNC Alfa” CJSC.
