VivaCell-MTS and FPWC planted 95 seedlings in the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Planting of 95 seedlings, brought from Western Armenia, in the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims took place in “Tsitsernakaberd” Memorial Complex today.

Mediamax reports that the event took place within the framework of “Green Generation” campaign, organized by VivaCell-MTS Company and the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC). General Manager of “VivaCell-MTS” Company Ralph Yirikian stated that the event carries the symbol of unification of Armenian lands – modern Armenia and the one we call Yerkir”.

Director of Yerevan branch of FPWC Ruben Khachatryan stated: “Tsitsernakaberd is a holy place, where everyone may once again remembers one’s past and go back to the roots of our people”.

Armenian art workers, politicians, representatives of diplomatic missions, entrepreneurs participated in the planting of seedlings.

The ceremony of handing 23 rare books from private collections over to the “Golden Fund” of the Armenian Genocide Museum Institute also took place today.  The books were purchased in the USA by joint efforts of FPWC and VivaCell-MTS.
