Third ArmRobotics to take place in Yerevan tomorrow

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Third open ArmRobotics Armenian championship to take place in on December 12 in Yerevan.

Mediamax reports that the Executive Director of the Union of IT Enterprises (UITE) of Armenia Karen Vardanyan said this at a news conference in Yerevan today.

According to him, the championship, which is held already for the third time, aims at uniting young scientists, attract ting scientific potential of the Diaspora, developing collective thinking and work among the youth, stimulating new technologic ideas in Armenia.

Karen Vardanyan also informed that during the championship they plan to realize the finale of “Identifying and Classifying Subjects” competition. The participants of the given competition were to design and make robots, which identify subjects as to their geometrical configuration.

According to Karen Vardanyan, the winners of the competition will receive 250 thousand AMD for the first place, 200 thousand AMD for the second and 100 thousand AMD for the third place.

Upon conclusion of the championship, a conference called “Youth and Robot Industry” conference will take place. Teachers of secondary schools, higher educational institutions and interested establishments will attend the conference.
