Average monthly internet traffic volume per user of Orange Armenia internet services made 6Gb

Yerevan /Mediamax/. The number of Orange Armenia “Internet-Now” and “Flybox” internet service consumers makes 4400.

Mediamax reports that General Director of Orange Armenia Bruno Duthoit said this in Yerevan today, noting that, in addition to this, about 15% of the operator’s mobile connection subscribers use broadband internet access from their cell phones.

According to Bruno Duthoit, in November and early December, the operator’s network experienced high load in connection with the unexpectedly high consumption of internet services, as a result of which the operator faced technical problems. “At present, all technical difficulties are overcome, and we can again speed up sales of our internet services”, Bruno Duthoit stated, noting that in the view of problems with internet connection in November, the company decided to exempt subscribers from paying for internet consumption for November.

General Director of the Company also informed that the average monthly volume of internet traffic per one subscriber of Orange Armenia internet services has made 6Gb, which is an unprecedented index for Armenia.

Answering the question on Orange’s reaction to the fact that other operators have stirred up recently, Bruno Duthoit stated that this was foreseeable and natural in the view of Orange Armenia’s entry to the market. At that, Bruno Duthoit informed that the company intends to present a number of interesting services by the end of the year.
