“VivaCell-MTS” and BirthLink announced the launch of a project on improving terms of newborn nursing

Yerevan /Mediamax/. “VivaCell-MTS” mobile connection operator and British BirthLink organization announced today the start of implementation of a project in Armenia on improving the terms of newborn nursing.

Mediamax reports that within the framework of the project, “VivaCell-MTS” provided means to purchase the necessary equipment, which will be installed in 11 maternity hospitals in Yerevan.

As the Director of BirthLink Kathy Mellor stated, maternity hospitals were chosen in Yerevan, since 40% of the newborns in Armenia fall on the share of the capital city.

According to the General Manager of “VivaCell-MTS” Ralph Yirikian, “realizing the vulnerability of the newborns and the difficulty of the required nursing, our company could not remain indifferent to this project”.
