Head of “VivaCell-MTS” predicts “tough competition” in the sphere of mobile internet and data transfer

Yerevan /Mediamax/. General Manager of “VivaCell-MTS” Ralph Yirikian believes that in foreseeable future, voice services will remain the main component of competition among mobile operators.

Ralph Yirikian said this in an interview to Mediamax, commenting on suppositions, according to which in conditions of the upcoming entry of the third mobile operator to the Armenian market, competition may move to the sphere of additional services, in particular, mobile internet and data transfer.

“Voice services will undoubtedly remain the basic component of competition among the operators. Simultaneously, additional services will also be developing. We register growth in consumption volumes of data transfer services by our subscribers each month. In future, tough struggle will unfold for this direction, however, competition will undoubtedly be preserved in the sphere of voice services”, Head of “VivaCell-MTS” stated in an interview to Mediamax.
