Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenia intends to become a regional laboratory for IT technologies.

Mediamax reports that the Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Vahe Danielyan said this, launching “Stimulation of regional cooperation through IT” conference in Yerevan, which is held within the framework of Armenia’s chairmanship in Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC).

Vahe Danielyan stressed the wish of the Armenian government to secure multisided development of IT, noting, in particular, implementation of e-management and wide application of IT in the sphere of education.

Director of “Enterprise Incubator Foundation” Bagrat Yengibaryan stated that Armenia considers BSEC countries as potential markets for selling Armenian IT production, as well as sources of new investment resources for IT sector of Armenia.

Bagrat Yengibaryan also noted the possibility for realization of joint programs with BSEC countries preparing professional personnel in IT sphere.
